BUTTERFLY WORLD

Your kids will love Butterfly World's Sanctuary for animals, birds and reptiles. Walk into the lush tropical gardens at Butterfly World that is not only a butterfly park, but a sanctuary for exotic animals, a bird sanctuary, and reptile sanctuary. It is ideal for educational school group outings, home school activities, photographic opportunities and an outing during school holidays when they have their daily animal shows. ZIP LINING

Who doesn't love a bit of adrenaline and excitement? This zip line activity is located just outside of Cape Town and is definitely one of the favourite things to do with our school groups. It's situated in a World Heritage Site within CapeNature’s Hottentots Holland Nature Reserve, located in the scenic Elgin Valley. The students always seem so refreshed when they get back to Riverlodge Backpackers after doing this zip line activity, and it's especially great for team building purposes.
