The More The Merrier At Riverlodge Backpackers

 

Not meaning to brag (well, just a little bit), but here at Riverlodge Backpackers we pride ourselves on many things. For starters, we are the closest backpackers to the Cape Town International Airport and the city centre is a mere 12 minute drive away. We offer an on-site shuttle service which will be able to take you where you need to go, and we are an accredited Baz Bus stop. We have 2 camping sites on our property that can accommodate 4x4 vehicle camping and tent camping for those of you who would prefer to sleep under the stars.

But one of the biggest things we pride ourselves on is that we are currently able to accommodate a total of 150 people - perhaps our slogan should be "the more the merrier"!

And the more the merrier indeed. The more our rooms start filling up and the sound of banter fills our halls, the bigger we smile. We absolutely love meeting new faces, hearing all of our guests' travelling stories and learning about different cultures. This is the reason why we decided to expand our sleeping capacity; we just can't get enough of you guys! 

 

Riverlodge Backpackers  gives you a range of accommodation types to choose from. We have the options of camping, single rooms, private twin rooms, double rooms, family rooms, male-only dormitories, female-only dormitories and mixed dormitories. The dormitories vary in how many people they can sleep, from 8 all the way to 22 and are perfect for large or small group bookings, including school and sport tours. We often accommodate touring school groups and we are always more than happy to ensure that their stay with us is safe, fun and education by organising tours and activities at Cape Town's iconic and historical sites.
