Cape Town's Game Reserve Is Proud To Announce The Arrival Of A Baby Hippo!

EXCITING TIMES FOR CAPE TOWN GAME RESERVE AS THEY WELCOME THEIR NEW BABY HIPPO

On the 10th March 2018, a new baby hippo came as a great surprise to the game reserve located just outside of Cape Town, South Africa. Recently, it's been a time of celebration for the game reserve with a white rhino calf being born in December 2017 and new wildlife releases onto the Big Five reserve.

"We hope guests will see this adorable hippo calf on their Big 5 safari and be inspired to take action to protect them in the wild,” says one of the people working at the Cape Town game reserve. It has since been confirmed that the baby hippo is a girl!

We can't wait to see the wildlife population continue to grow in the future. Who knows which animal will be next to give birth.. maybe a leopard.. or a elephant..? We'll have to wait and see!
