SAFARI HALF MARATHON
The 2017 Safari Half Marathon (21.1km) is one of the most scenic annual runs in the Western Cape. Join hundreds of runners in the beautiful town of Wellington, through farmland and gravel roads, just outside of Cape Town. Racers are expected to have at least an average fitness level but most importantly, they're expected to have fun!

STELLENBOSCH OYSTER AND BUBBLY FESTIVAL
2017 will be the very first oyster and bubbly festival in Stellenbosch at D'Trekka. Enjoy fresh West Coast oysters with some bubbly. Tickets include: Entry to the festival and ample safe parking, tasting vouchers, bubbly glass and live entertainment! There will be 2 cash bars, a kids' play area and alternative food options for those of you who do not enjoy slurping down oysters.

APPLEWOOD HARVEST COUNTRY MARKET AND TRAIL RUN
Enjoy all things apple at the Applewood Harvest Market in the countryside area called Elgin, just outside of Cape Town. Bring the whole family along to the event where there will be activities for the kids, live music, runs, not to mention craft ciders, wine and delicious food.

RIEBEEK VALLEY OLIVE FESTIVAL
The West Coast Tourism Awards voted this annual festival the Best Tourism Event with 2017 promising to be bigger & better. Get ready for a martini bar, fresh-produce market, children's' activities & live music. People from all over South Africa flock to the Olive Festival & olive enthusiasts from all over are sure to book their accommodation up to a year before the event. FRANSCHHOEK LITERARY FESTIVAL
Franschhoek is famous for it's outstanding wine farms and scenery. NUY VALLEY HARVEST FESTIVAL
The annual Nuy Valley Feast, hosted by Nuy Wine Cellar, Willow Creek Olive Estate, Conradie Family Vineyards and Leipzig Country House is taking place on Saturday 2O May. The list of activities range from a MTB, fun walk and vineyards trail run, wine tasting, olive oil tastings, vineyards trails, tractor and wagon rides, fun activities for children… and much more. Come and enjoy live music by well-known artists, top quality wine- and olive products and a farm and craft market!
